Building a Culture of Quality

No one likes to use software that has defects, but yet so many software development teams produce buggy code.  Is it not possible to create bug-free code?  It might actually not be possible to produce applications that handle every single possible edge case; but with the right emphasis, we can build software that does what is expected, with relative ease, and relative speed.  The solution is not to throw more money and/or developers at the problem – plenty of very large software development teams have buggy software.  The solution is to build a culture of quality within not just your team, but within your company.  Come to this session to hear how you can build that culture within your company and produce consistently dependable software.
